Objective of the study. To develop and implement an algorithm for predicting obstetric and perinatal pathology in women with different somatotypes and age of first childbirth.
Materials and methods. To achieve this goal, 104 pregnant women at early stages of gestation with different body types were examined. The age of the examined patients ranged from 19 to 38 years. Somatometry, somatotyping, and hormonal studies were conducted. Of the examined women, 29 (27,9%) were of the macrosomatic body type, 47 (45,2%) were mesosomatic, and 28 (26,9%) were microsomatic. Of these, 62 (59.6%) women were primiparous, and 42 (40,4%) were multiparous. The peculiarities of the course of pregnancy and childbirth were studied, the state of the fetoplacental system and the intrauterine fetus was assessed, and the peculiarities of the course of the early neonatal period in newborns were studied. Anamnestic information, data on age, somatic condition, and obstetric-gynecological history were entered into a specially designed chart.
Results. During regression analysis, it was established that in the third trimester of pregnancy in mothers of the macrosomatic body type, a dependence of the newborn's mass-height index was established on the blood hemoglobin level (r = 0,.92), the mother's total blood protein (r = 0,78), the fetal condition in points according to the Fisher scale (r = 05), the mother's body mass index (r = -0,23), fat mass (r = 0,32), mean arterial pressure (r = -0,59), and proteinuria (r = -0,72). In the third trimester of pregnancy in mothers of the mesosomatic body type, we established a dependence between the newborn's mass-height index and blood hemoglobin level (r = 0,72), total blood protein (r = 0,5), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (r = -0,.2), blood platelets (r = 0,.25), fat mass (r = -0,3), mean arterial pressure (r = -0,43), mother's body mass index (r = -0,3), fetal condition in points according to the Fisher scale (r = 0,25), and proteinuria (r = -0,6). The conducted analysis showed a dependence of the newborn's mass-height index and the level of proteinuria (r = -0,24), total blood protein (r = 0,8), blood hemoglobin (r = 0,7), blood platelets (r = 0,22), mean arterial pressure (r = -0,37), and body mass index (r = -0,2) in mothers of the microsomatic body type in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Conclusion. The conducted regression analysis allowed for the identification of forecast models for the dependence of the features of newborns' physical development and placental features on the functional indicators of representatives of different body types in all trimesters of pregnancy. It should be noted that using multiple regression analysis, it is also possible to build regression equations for prognostic models, with the help of which other pregnancy complications in women of different body types can be predicted.
