Objective of the study: To investigate the comparative aspects of psycho-emotional disorders in women with different variants of genital pathology.
Materials and methods. We conducted a clinical and psychopathological examination of 700 female patients (aged 18 to 45 years, mean age 32.1±2.7 years) with gynecological pathology. The study was conducted in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The study group of patients with reproductive system pathology was formed in accordance with the accepted inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Results. The obtained data indicate that the pathogenetic groups of reproductive system diseases of neuroendocrine and inflammatory genesis were differentiated fairly well based on the developed discriminant model, whereas the group of gynecological diseases of proliferative genesis occupied an intermediate position within the context of the analyzed parameters. The indicators of this matrix demonstrated that using the constructed classification functions based on the selected psycho-emotional parameters, the most successful discrimination was achieved for the group of gynecological diseases of neuroendocrine genesis, where the contribution of correct segregation amounted to 70.4% (or 73.4% as per the original typo). Diseases of the reproductive system of inflammatory genesis, based on the reviewed mental disorders present in the current state of women with this gynecological pathology, were correctly diagnosed in 44.1% of cases.
Conclusion. Women of the early reproductive group had lower scores for "anxiety-asthenic" and "sexual-hypochondriac" factors compared to patients belonging to the late reproductive age (according to the WHO 2020 classification). Positive correlations were established between the "anxiety-asthenic" factor score and the age of gynecological patients. In patients with reproductive system pathology, positive correlations were found between the "depressive-dysomnic" factor parameter and the severity indicator of autonomic changes. The obtained results should be utilized in developing an algorithm for diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive measures.
