Pressing questions of the use of psychological platform of assisted reproductive technologies

The objective: to present the scientific ground of necessity of the use of psychological platform of
assisted reproductive technologies during the conducting of the different programs.
Materials and methods. By us 227 women and men with infertility, which assisted reproductive
technologies were rotined, were inspected. It is conducted all of them abnormal clinical-andpsychopathological
inspection on the criteria of international classification of diseases of a 10
revision. It was thus discovered that 100 women suffered borderline psychical disorders is a basic
group. A control group was made by 50 fertile mentally healthy women. To all patients it was conducted
complete clinical-and-laboratory inspection on a chart, accepted in clinics.
Results. Conducted a factor analysis the row of factors, which influenced on the mental condition
of women with infertility in the program of treatment of assisted reproductive technologies. Women
methods marked that at ideas and talks about infertility, found out, there was internal tension
his duration, sometimes «propped up chest to the throat», palpitation became more frequent. Obtrusive
flashbacks concerning unsuccessful treatment, absence of children mixed concentrated
at work, at home, the usual chart of life was violated. Before the new attempt of treatment women
had different displays of psychosomatic diseases.
Satisfied of necessity of conducting of treatment went to contradiction with internal persuasion
about the rightness of choice of method. Chronic diseases became sharp, there were signs of
cold diseases or new symptoms of somatopathy appeared. «Flight into illness» justified to the
«postponement» beginning of treatment. The display of psychosomatic disorders during procedure
required a psychotherapy help with the purpose of change of persuasion and coping-strategies
for the successful conducting of treatment.
Conclusions. Combination of a few factors assists development of borderline psychical disorders,
such as a non-adaptive conduct, which was instrumental in strengthening of internal tension,
disfunction of the vegetative nervous system, that appeared in vegetative violations. Protracted
internal tension resulted in development of high level of alarm, extrass of corticosteroids in future
to the immunodeficient state, that was instrumental in intensifying of chronic somatopathies. Coping
strategy «flight into illness» resulted in development of psychosomatic diseases the primary
objective of which was avoidance of treatment. All foregoing is the convincing scientific ground
of selection of psychological platform of assisted reproductive technologies – as an independent
scientific problem on quality of decision of which efficiency of treatment of infertility depends.
