Author Guidelines
The journal adheres to international standards of medical research ethics (ICMJE, COPE, WHO, Declaration of Helsinki). All materials submitted to the editorial board must comply with the requirements of biosafety, confidentiality and human rights.
Technical Requirements
File format: .docx, .doc or .rtf.
Length: up to 25 pages (including references and abstracts).
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt; line spacing — 1.5.
Margins: 20 mm on all sides.
Article Structure (IMRAD +)
The manuscript must include the following elements:
- UDC Index (top left);
- Title of the article (no more than 150 characters), written without abbreviations (except for commonly accepted ones) in Ukrainian and English;
- Initials and surname of the author(s);
- Contribution of each author;
- ORCID and email of each author;
- Name of the institution where the work was performed, city, country;
- Abstract in Ukrainian and English: (200–250 words) - should contain the aim, methods, main results and conclusions;
- Keywords and their English equivalents: 5–8 terms.
Main Body:
Introduction: Problem statement and literature review.
Purpose: Clear objectives of the study.
Methods: Description of the research methodology.
Results: Presentation of the core findings.
Conclusions: Scientific novelty and practical implications.
References: Formatted according to the APA (7th edition) style.
References Requirements (Vancouver Style)
The journal "Perinatology and Reproductology: from Scientific Research to Practice" uses the Vancouver citation style (the "author-number" system). Accuracy in citations is the responsibility of the authors. The reference list is formatted according to Vancouver style.
General Guidelines:
Order: Sources must be numbered in the order they are first mentioned in the text (not alphabetically).
In-text Citations: Use Arabic numerals in square brackets, e.g., [1] or [3, 7–11].
Author Rules: List all authors if there are 6 or fewer. If there are 7 or more, list the first 6 followed by "et al."
Journal Titles: Use standard NLM (National Library of Medicine) abbreviations for journal titles.
DOI: Providing a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for all sources where available is mandatory.
